How we vet whales (and delist the bad ones)
A copy-trading signal is only as good as the wallet behind it. SONAR’s discovery engine continuously scores wallets and removes ones that no longer earn their grade.
What we check
- Real performance: realized ROI and win rate over multiple windows, not cherry-picked screenshots.
- Wash & insider patterns: too-perfect records and self-trading get flagged.
- Sellability: can copiers actually exit the tokens this wallet trades? Honeypots and rugs are filtered.
- Out-of-sample: we test whether performance holds on data the wallet wasn’t selected on.
We delist openly
When a whale goes inactive or its edge fades, it moves to the graveyard with the reason. Removing bad whales is as important as adding good ones.
